California Policy
Additional Information applicable to California residents
We adopt these Additional Terms to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and other California privacy laws applicable to relevant users.
Definitions applicable these Additional Terms
The terms “Business,” “Consumer,” “Personal Information,” “Processing,” and “Service Provider” have the meanings ascribed to such terms under the CCPA.
Rights under the CCPA
The CCPA provides Consumers (defined under the CCPA) with specific rights regarding their Personal Information. If you are a Consumer, you have the right to request that a Business (defined and subject to the CCPA) discloses certain information to you about their collection and uses of your Personal Information over the past twelve (12) months. In addition, you have the right to ask the business to delete Personal Information collected from you, subject to certain exceptions. If a Business sells a Consumer’s Personal Information, the Consumer has a right to opt-out of that sale. Finally, a business cannot discriminate against you for exercising a CCPA right.
Our Status as a Service Provider
When offering services to our users, we act as solely as a “Service Provider” under the CCPA. This means that our receipt and collection of any Consumer’s Personal Information is completed on behalf of our users who are classified as Businesses and who are subject to the CCPA on the basis of that status. If you are a Consumer, please direct any requests for access or deletion of your Personal Information under the CCPA to the Business with whom you have a direct relationship.
Commitment to Non-Discrimination
Consistent with California law, if you choose to exercise your applicable CCPA rights, we won’t charge you different prices or provide you a different quality of services. If we ever offer a financial incentive or product enhancement that is contingent upon you providing your Personal Information, we will not do so unless the benefits to you are reasonably related to the value of the Personal Information that you provide to us.
Sale of Personal Information
We do not Sell Personal Information to third parties, as such term is defined under the CCPA.
Do not Track
Certain state laws including the California Online Privacy Protection Act of 2003 (CalOPPA) require us to indicate whether we honor “Do Not Track” settings in your browser. We do not monitor or follow any Do Not Track browser requests.
Changes to These Terms
We may change or update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.
